The 13th annual meeting was held at the premises of the World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe in Copenhagen, Denmark, on 7 October 2004, and consisted of a business general assembly and a professional session with two parallel workshops, one targeted for the politicians and the other one for practitioners (copies of the workshop reports can be requested from the Secretariat).

During the business part of the meeting, a new Executive Committee was elected and Ms Eeva Teräsalmi, Finland, handed over the presidency to Mr Herbert Cabana from Austria (left).
