The EuroPharm Forum is managed by active volunteer members as well as permanent staff.
Annual Meetings
Members of the Forum meet at least once a year in a General Assembly to assess the work of the past year, to plan future activities and decide issues of policy.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is elected by the General Assembly of the Forum and comprises 7 members incl. the President. In order to secure continuity, members are elected by two every year for a three-year term. The presidential term is also three years, currently from October 2008-2011. The Committee works according to the Strategic Plan and meets at least four times annually to keep the Forum on track in effecting the decisions made at the Annual Meeting.

Professional Programme
The professional activities of the Forum are set up in a Professional Programme with activities grouped in seven strategic areas. Each area reflects a WHO priority.
As such, the principles and philosophy behind the professional activities are based on WHO documents on the role of the pharmacist and the Pharmaceutical Care concept.
Each professional programme area is lead by a Programme Co-ordinator and comprises one or more Working Groups with Moderators appointed to stimulate and keep the work on track. Working Group members represent member associations of the Forum.

Secretariat
The Secretariat is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Forum programme.
It is staffed by a manager (responsible for the programme, in particular the scientific and policy content) assisted by an administrative assistant.
The Secretariat was, until 1 July 2006, hosted by the WHO Regional Office for Europe, at which time the WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Policy and Pharmacy Practice at the Danish College of Pharmacy Practice (Pharmakon) took over the hosting responsibilities.
