Membership

Eligibility
Any national pharmaceutical association in the WHO European Region is eligible to apply for membership of the Forum. The Forum statutes define a national pharmaceutical association as a "free, independent nongovernmental association of pharmacists, whose activities cover all aspects of professional practice".
Application
To apply for membership, an association writes to the Secretariat, enclosing a copy of its statutes in English. The association is also required to supply a detailed description of its membership and make-up. The Forum's Executive Committee then reviews the application (and particularly the submitted statutes) to ensure that the articles comply with the Forum statutes. Membership applications are decided upon by the Forum at its General Assembly.
Members
The Forum members currently comprise 38 professional associations of pharmacists from 29 countries in the WHO European Region. Each member association appoints a contact person as its representative to coordinate contact and collaboration with the Forum through the Secretariat.
