Pharmakon is a WHO Collaborating Centre for Drug Policy and Pharmacy Practice (since 1996) and houses the secretariats of the Community Pharmacy Section of FIP and the EuroPharm Forum. Pharmakon carries out research within pharmacy practice and is linked to a number of educational and research networks, eg Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE).
Pharmakon is a conference and training centre in Hillerød, north of Copenhagen and was established to meet the need for a high-quality educational centre in the pharmaceutical sector. It is specialised in education, development and counselling in pharmacy practice at community pharmacies and within the drug industry. Pharmakon solves a multiplicity of tasks and supplements its own expertise and experience with external specialists.
