Regional Pharmaceutical Fora

The objective of the establishment of the regional pharmaceutical forums is to enable the pharmacy profession to have a greater impact on improving pharmacy services and health. The Regional Pharmaceutical Forums have been formed in WHO' s geographical subdivisions:
  • APForum (Africa)
    Officially founded, after several years, in Harare, Zimbabwe, in 2004, and including 15 African countries More

  • Pharmaceutical Forum of the Americas
    Established in 1999 and has members from the national pharmaceutical associations and councils and from regional federations, and from FIP

  • EmroPharm Forum (The Forum of Eastern Mediterranean Pharmaceutical Organizations)
    Mission: To improve health in the Region through national pharmaceutical organizations based on the WHO policy framework, and by establishing a dialogue and cooperation between these organizations and WHO

  • SEARPharm Forum (South East Asian FIP-WHO Forum of Pharmaceutical Associations
    The FIP Forum of National Pharmaceutical Organizations in collaboration with WHO Regional Office for South East Asia. Scretariat based in Delhi. Established June 2001

  • WPPharm Forum (Western Pacific Pharmaceutical Forum)
    Founded in September 2001. In collaboration with the WHO, the Forum brings the national pharmacy associations together to increase dialogue, understanding and activity in the region, and enable the pharmacy profession to have a greater impact on improving pharmacy services and health
