Influenza A (H1N1) Pandemic Alert Level at 6 Updated on 2 July at 23.00 hrs The outbreak of Influenza A (H1N1) is currently spreading at a pace and with most cases being mild. The Forum continues to monitor the situation and post relevant links and updated case counts on the Influenza A (H1N1) subsite.

• Success for pharmacists: EU Court of Justice rules:
  Ownership and operation of pharmacies can be restricted to pharmacists alone
  On 19 May, the Court ruled that restrictions on ownership of pharmacies are compatible with the EU Treaty and, therefore, follows the Advocate General’s opinion
