Pharmacists' contribution to public health in noncommunicable diseases

Medication can be safer and offer more value to public health if pharmacists take more responsibility in the area of noncommunicable diseases.

Conference 30 September-1 October 2010
The presentations from the joint WHO and the EuroPharm Forum Conference on "The Role of Pharmacists in Individual Patient Care" are now available here.
The scope of the Conference was to exchange ideas for implementation of pharmacy practice, to conclude on various pharmacy practice related activities, to recommend future activities, and finally to draft a declaration on the value of pharmacists to patient care.
 
The EuroPharm Forum General Assembly acknowledged the work of the participants in the conference and accepted the declaration on the Role of Pharmacists in Individual Patient Care.


 
 
 
Observatory on Pharmacy Practice
The EuroPharm Forum Observatory is a horizon-scanning tool and document library which is focused on pharmacy practice activities and development. We invites all pharmacy practice stakeholders to use and contribute to the Observatory.
